Account Director | Automotive Events & Comms Lead – High-Growth Agency Opportunity

Are you an exceptional Account Director looking for the next pivotal step in your career? We are exclusively retained by a dynamic, high-growth Events and Communications Agency to find a strategic leader for one of their most significant automotive accounts. This is a chance to move beyond execution and directly influence strategy, client growth, and brand visibility for a premium client.

Location & Work Model: Corby, Northamptonshire area (Excellent transport links and commutable from surrounding regions). This is an office-based role requiring 4 days per week collaboration at the client's central office.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years’ agency experience in a senior account management capacity.
  • Proven strength in Public Relations strategies and protocols alongside comprehensive event service knowledge (logistics, production, AV).
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and a strong track record of developing and winning new business (including persuasive pitching to senior stakeholders).
  • High creative flair, an eye for detail, and the resilience to remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the senior liaison, owning and nurturing key client relationships and providing strategic oversight and counsel.
  • Translate complex client objectives into measurable event and communications strategies that support wider marketing goals.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring flawless, profitable delivery (on time, on budget, to exceptional standards).
  • Proactively identify organic growth opportunities within the account and contribute fresh ideas to new business development.
  • Lead project performance evaluation, turning data and insights into compelling narratives and future recommendations.
