What You’ll Do:

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless events from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing conference delegates, including comprehensive travel bookings.
• Utilizing Cvent to its full potential.
• Running conferences and incentives with precision and flair.
• Crafting detailed proposals and expertly taking client briefs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to curate efficient and appropriate solutions.
• Multitasking effectively across various projects and clients.
• Confidently engaging with clients both face-to-face and virtually.
• Building strong client and supplier relationships and skillfully negotiating budgets.
• Managing event budgets, invoicing, and reconciliation with a solid understanding of event finances.
• Leveraging event technology, including event apps and registration software.

The Ideal Fit:

• Circa 3 years’ experience in the events industry.
• Aptitude for following established company and event processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work both from home and in the office (currently 3 days a week in the office, with options for 5 if preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A team player with a creative mindset.
• Possesses the drive to use own initiative and a desire to develop professionally.
• A professional, positive approach with strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Basic UK and worldwide destination knowledge and a desire to expand this.
• Outgoing, personable, and willingness to travel globally.
