What You’ll Bring:

You'll have demonstrated prior experience in an events agency environment managing projects and in a client-facing role. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, impeccable organisation, and very strong project management and decision-making abilities are essential. You'll be proficient in managing project budgets and possess a creative eye, perhaps even with an interest in learning basic design software. A willingness to travel for site inspections and event delivery is a must. Experience with industry-standard project management and documentation tools is a plus.

You'll be self-motivated, lead by example, and operate with an exceptional level of delivery, balancing an excellent eye for detail with overall project objectives. You'll work calmly under pressure, possess the resilience and stamina required to sustain performance, and be a true team player who actively supports colleagues' development. You're passionate about supporting your peers, enjoy a wide variety of projects, actively seek feedback, and build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

What You’ll Do:

As a core member of our Live team, you'll work cross-functionally with technical production, creative, and other stakeholders to plan and execute next-level events on time and on budget. You'll lead project teams with passion and enthusiasm, or take ownership of complex areas within larger projects, always keeping senior members informed.

You can expect to collaborate extensively with internal teams on event design, experience, content, logistics, and operations, translating client briefs into language each department understands. You'll also build great relationships with external suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead high-quality, creative events from briefing through planning, design, and onsite delivery. Fully understand client aims, ensuring all project outcomes meet the brief.
  • Team Leadership: Work with the Resource Manager to scope, plan, and onboard your project team, understanding roles and time required.
  • Collaboration: Lead project meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders. Develop production briefs, understanding how to translate creative ideas into reality.
  • Technical Acumen: Possess a good level of AV knowledge, managing requirements for small projects or collaborating with Technical Production for larger ones.
  • Supplier & Venue Management: Source venues and suppliers with strong negotiating skills, managing contracts and highlighting key information. Coordinate site visits and create reports.
  • Onsite Delivery: Lead or support onsite delivery, problem-solving, and pivoting plans quickly to ensure smooth running. Ensure compliance in all areas and gather post-event feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Fully understand and implement agency processes, proposing new ideas to enhance event planning and delivery.
  • Finance: Manage budgets of all sizes and currencies (quotes, POs, payment schedules, invoice processing). Proactively manage budgets, track time, and handle scope creep.
  • Client Relations: Foster strong relationships, leading all aspects of client relations from initial brief to idea generation, proposals, and onsite support. Support on RFPs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor, assist, motivate, and guide junior team members, offering them the support they need to grow their skills and thrive.
